This gourd form is made out of a fine porcelain clay. It has been altered and has porcelain seeds inside creating a rattling sound when you handle the piece. It is finished with a gloss crystalline glaze. This piece is 10 inches tall and 6.5 inches in diameter. It is difficult to see the actual color from the photo of the full piece.
