This gourd form is made out of a fine porcelain clay. It has been altered, beaded, and has porcelain seeds inside creating a rattling sound when you handle the piece. It is finished with a gloss crystalline glaze. This piece is 8.5 inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. It is difficult to see the actual color from the photo of the full piece. Check out the second photo for a close-up of the glaze to get a better idea of the color.
